I absolutely adore easter. All the colors and beauty of spring, tons of good food and CANDY. Oh all the candy you eat. But that might not be the best all the time. So I'm going to give you the recipe to a treat that is 50 times more healthy than store bought candy but just as delicious:
Yui's Chocolate Pearls ^^
Your will need:
- 100g of soft butter
- 1 1/2 dl sugar
- 5 dl oatmeal
- 3 tbls cocoa powder
(mixed together)
- 1 tbls vanilla
- 2 tbls water
Start of by pinching the butter and sugar together in a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and pinch it together with the tips of your fingers until it looks something like this:
Roll the mix into balls that are about 2 centimeters in diameter and put them on a plate.
Then you can roll your treats in a topping of your choice. This time i used icing-sugar but I also like to use some crushed sunflower seeds as well.
Wrap your chocolate pearls in some plastic wrap so that they don't get dry.
This is an amazing and healthy treat that suits perfectly for easter. And if you don't celebrate easter they taste just as good with a cup of hot chocolate or some coffee on a cozy night at home, or why not treat your friends on this healthy sweet.
