A little update

Hello there, all my little lovlies <3

Its been a while since last, I am so bad at this blog thing. I have a lot of things to tell and update you on!

First of all I am graduating on June 3. There will be a huge ceremony where we all will be wearing white and very special graduation hats. I'm very excited over it but I'm also loosing my mind. We have so much school work right now. Never ending essays, homework and tests! I am really stressed out over it but its going to be amazing when all of this is over.

I am also going to travel to Thailand this summer. Me and my family are going to Kamala beach, Phuket for sixteen days and I will be filming and uploading photos as much as I can for you guys.

Lastly I am planing a very secret project for you guys. I have been working on it since july last year and soon I can announce it to you! So look forward to that!


I think thats it for this time. I will try to update this blog a lot more often!

Närcon 2014

As you might know by now (as I have written about it pretty much in erlier posts) I went to Närcon this summer. Närcon is a four day long convention focusing on east asian popular-culture. It was one of the most exiting and fun experiences of my life and I had a great time.

As I couldn't take you all with me for obvious reasons I took the opportunity to film everything and make a mini vlog series. I made one video per day showing you everything I did. Therefor I thought it would be a good idea to link all the videos here for you guys <3

Halloween makeup

Hello my little lovelies <3

I was playing around with makeup the other day and I did a halloween style that I thought was simply stunning! It's a bruised look with a black eye and three nasty bruises on both arms and on the collarbone. I hope you like it and don't forget to leave you opinions in the comments.

Summer Madness

So I was looking trough my computer and I stumbled upon a folder called ‘ Summer Madness’. In it were all of the pictures I took this summer and it made me miss summer so much! Early fall in Sweden is one of most beautiful times of the year, alongside with the day of the fist spring blossom and a snowy Christmas eve, but as time goes by and it gets closer to November its not as beautiful anymore. I mean, its still beautiful but it’s not the same as when the leafs are all yellow and orange and the sun looks out from the clouds shines down at all the beautiful colors on the ground. At this time a year everything is just grey and brown, and you barely see the sun at all as its mostly raining. Don’t get me wrong, I love rain, but I can’t help but to think back at the warm summer days when I spent days at the beach with my family and warm summer nights out on stupid adventures with my friends.

So when I found the pictures I got that warm feeling inside that I had back then all over again. So I thought, why not share some of them with you, my pretties?

I hope you like them and that you had just as an amazing summer as I did!

I have an announcement to make!

It’s been way to long again! I miss you guys tt.tt I hope you all have been well :)

I might have mentioned this in an other blogpost but I cant remember so I’ll just say it again; I recently started an other Youtube channel called ‘CutiePieYui’. On that channel I’m not going to post my usual Cover- and Music-styled videos, instead I’m going to post more vlog-styled videos focusing on makeup, beauty and fashion. I’m still going to update my cover-channel as well, so don’t you worry.

My first four videos are up on the channel and it’s a mini vlog series where yyou get to follow my friends and I on our wonderful adventures for Närcon, which is a convention for east Asian popular culture. 

So here is my question for you today:

Are there any videos that you would like to see me do? Any specific makeup styles? Any tag videos?  Please let me know^^

Excuses, Närcon and Final year in School

Hello my little pretties <3

I feel like I have been away from this blog for a bit to long now… But I have a great explanation! Okay maybe not that great but it is an explanation! I work a lot in the summer out in the Swedish archipelago and I have no Internet connection what so ever in my house, I don’t even have reception on my phone! 0.0 It is awful and I feel so alone. I mean,

I CANNOT CONNECT TO TUMBLR!

I’m not okay.

                                                           

But anyway! I just wanted to update you guys on what I am doing at the moment and what will happen in the near future and so on.

I am currently on a short visit back in town, or what I like to call it; THE STOCKHOLM SAUNA! It is so hot in Sweden right now and I am currently melting.

The reason for my glorious visit back in town is that I have to prepare for my cousin’s and mine trip to NÄRCON!  Närcon is a convention for East Asian culture such as Anime and Manga( and a lot more). It takes place in a small Swedish town called Linköping between the 24:th and the 27:th of July and its super fun!

An other thing going on is that I will start updating my YouTube cover channel a lot more as soon as I stop working for the summer and I have this idea that I might start vloging! I will start by filming my trip to Närcon so that all of you can come with me! It’s going to be super fun and I will upload it to a youtube channel called CutiePieYui.

After this summer I will start my last year in upper secondary school and I will probably be pretty stressed out, that won’t stop me from trying to update as often as possible tho but I want you to know so that you don’t judge me to hard if the content is lacking.

I thing this is all for this time and I will see all of your pretty faces soon.

Healthy Easter Treat

Easter is upon us!
I absolutely adore easter. All the colors and beauty of spring, tons of good food and CANDY. Oh all the candy you eat. But that might not be the best all the time. So I'm going to give you the recipe to a treat that is 50 times more healthy than store bought candy but just as delicious:

Yui's Chocolate Pearls ^^

Your will need:

• 100g of soft butter
• 1 1/2 dl sugar
• 5 dl oatmeal
• 3 tbls cocoa powder

(mixed together)

• 1 tbls vanilla
• 2 tbls water

Start of by pinching the butter and sugar together in a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and pinch it together with the tips of your fingers until it looks something like this:

Roll the mix into balls that are about 2 centimeters in diameter and put them on a plate.

Then you can roll your treats in a topping of your choice. This time i used icing-sugar but I also like to use some crushed sunflower seeds as well.

Wrap your chocolate pearls in some plastic wrap so that they don't get dry.

This is an amazing and healthy treat that suits perfectly for easter. And if you don't celebrate easter they taste just as good with a cup of hot chocolate or some coffee on a cozy night at home, or why not treat your friends on this healthy sweet.
